about the project
Everyone in Buenos Aires has a roof terrace with something nice on it. Most have some chairs with a BBQ, others a gym or a pool. Because we had just a dead space, I decided to give it another look. Over 5 nights I painted the terrace (40sqm) with the faces of my parents. I had never drawn something that big before which is why I had to use a grid technique to scale the faces to this size.
